Panasonic has a good DVD Camcorder with 3CCD performance, VDR-V250 for 699 suggested retail.

A DVD camcorder is one of the most returned electronic items due to the poor reliability of DVD’s. If you are going to use your camcorder a lot buy a MiniDV tape model. MiniDV is the most reliable DV media and the most versatile.

it hard to recomment wich one is the best b-coz most of all not many p-ple own two or 3 product .
i own canon the ZR model n l like it a lot.
