26 May 2010I am trying to buy a digital camcorder but I want one that takes good qualitiy videos with no blocky pictures and sound. Just clear picture and sound. I want it to be able to hook up to the computer. So, just put the brand and model that you have and who’s ever is the best, lowest priced one will get 10 points. Thanks
This is about gadget and consumer electronic information question.

I suggest the Canon Elura 100 – it was named the best camcorder for overall value/performance for 2006 by camcorderinfo.com
Here’s the complete list:

Sony should be the way to go if your budget allow. I have a Canon GL2 which is a entry level prosumer grade 3CCD camcorder. If your budget allow you to get a hand on one of the 3CCD model. Get it. Once you’ve use a 3CCD model, you can’t go back to single CCD. The picture is much better and you’ll be amazed how well it can shoot even under low light condition.

I own a Sony TRV280 which I’m very satisfied with. Can’t remember the price but recall it wasn’t expensive.
