How can I get videos from a camcorder on the old computer?

I have an old Sony Handycam Video 8 CCD-TR64 NTSC. It contains audio / video ports, a port RFU DC output and a LANC port, but I do not see FireWire or USB. Is there a cable and software available to rip video and audio tapes from? It uses 8mm tapes.

Video 8 is the same – so there’s no FireWire port. (USB owuld for photos on memory cards only – but it probably has no memory card).

Connect the AV connector for the AV cable, AV cable to the RCA connection is a capture card “or” end analog / digital, login (or install the capture card or analog / digital) to the computer.

Bottom line external converters that connect through USB. Roxio, Hauppauge, Pinnacle (Dazzle) and many other companies do. The compression of a data stream defined in the standard reduces the quality of the video … If your computer has a FireWire port and one of the Canopus units (like ADVC-55 or ADVC-110) is proposed.
