18 Aug 2010I have a Vector Bass8 eight inches in the home theater, and I recently blew a fuse on it. I replaced the fuse, the fuse has blown news almost instantly. So I have not replaced blown fuse with one another. I played my deputy for about 10 minutes, suddenly stop. I went back there, get off my backup to check whether it has blown up. No, but I could feel that something has been burned. Then I thought my amp overheated and melted inside something, or skipping an internal fuse. So, not the end, my money is lit, the fuse is blown and I smell something like it may have been burned. Someone help me here?
when all other speakers of your work, you probably blew the sub. the smell of fire was the driver or amplifier in the sub be. Try gently on the driver, everything is OK, if you can. If it moves easily, without scratching, it’s probably the amp.
