8 Apr 2010I have firewires and my computer recognises that i have a digital camcorder with videos on it, as it comes up with a quick start menu and then an import video option. I click on it and nothing happens. I do it again but it just says that a video is already importing. What do i do?

Well after you plugged it in, I think you should look for that camcorder file. When you see it, everything should be in there. Just copy any files or folders you want them out of that camcorder, then paste it anywhere you want on your pc.

if u arent sure with the firewire method, just do it with a usb, and check ur user manual for ur cam, it should say how to transfer with firewire, i cant really say because i dont know what cam u have
