26 May 2010I have a Nokia 6010. I havn’t used it in a while but when I put my SIM card in and turn it on a stop sign comes on and says Phone Restricted! When I push “undo” it asks for a “restriction code”. I tried my old passwords and none work. Any ideas?
This is about gadget and consumer electronic information question.

What service provider SIM card did you put in the phone? Is your service provider different from the phone’s service provider.. Because when Tmobile or Cingular sells their phones. Its locked in their service, which means you can only put Cingular SIM for a Cingular phone, same as Tmobile..
I will suggest you not to enter any password, but I guess you did it anyway. Because that password is the unlock code for your cell phone.
Anyhow Your phone is Locked!! In order for you to use it, Put the right SIM for the right phone.. Or else get it unlocked!
And yeah search yahoo.. They have some free Unlocker calculator.
You can unlock your phone by yourself. also for free.
Good LUCk!!
